As a follow up to our email out yesterday (March 23) to all of our employees, we want to update you on the Province of Ontario’s decision to force all non-essential businesses to close for 14 days across Ontario on Tuesday March 24, 2020, at 11:59 pm.
To be clear this is not a city-wide lockdown or province-wide lockdown. According to link. the following business sectors will remain open as they are deemed essential for people: https://www.ontario.ca/page/list-essential-workplaces
Under Institutional, residential, commercial and industrial maintenance heading, Security Services has been deemed an Essential Business so we are continuing to provide our valuable service. This means that Regal Security Inc. will still be providing contracted security services for the foreseeable future. Therefore, all scheduled shifts are to be worked, please check your Kiuni profile to confirm your shift times and locations. Our Regal Management team is working diligently to address all site requirements for social distancing, parcel control and getting you additional protective measures, equipment, and hand sanitizer as soon as it is available.

Asking questions or making requests will be addressed as fairly and reasonably as possible and will not result in any reprisals or disciplinary action for the employees as long as it is conducted fairly, respectfully and reasonably.
